The Community Kitchen & Delivery Services: Kurdish Hospitality Through The Pandemic

During these difficult times, as the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread throughout the country, we take seriously our role as community-based volunteers in supporting residents and health workers in the Bay Area. The health and safety of our community remains our top priority. In response, The Hesara Organization, together with California Kurdish community-based volunteers, has introduced a community kitchen and delivery service.

We offer daily dinner selections to the Bay Area community, based on the groceries and ingredients we receive. Our delivery services include grocery shopping and home-delivered meals. We provide meals to families and individuals from all backgrounds across Bay Area communities. Each day, our volunteers travel over 150 miles and dedicate many hours to shopping for and delivering food from San Francisco to the South Bay and East Bay.
